Veteran artists from years ago at Telluride Blues & Brews Festival (2000 and 2003), brothers Luther and Cody Dickinson returned to Telluride mid-afternoon on September 17th with a fiery set including this rendition of "Drinking Muddy Water" which Luther played on a coffee can guitar.

Telluride Blues & Brews Festival Director Steve Gumble has had a love affair with bringing world class musicians to Telluride, Colorado for over two decades. For the first time ever, he sits down to trade stories with rock icon Joe Walsh during the first episode of our brand new artist interview series "Born To Play". The two discuss Joe's multifaceted, long-lasting career that now brings him to Telluride for the first time as a headliner at the 23rd Telluride Blues & Brews Festival.
Presented by Telluride Music, Telluride Blues Society and the Colorado Blues Society, the Telluride Blues Challenge showcases six musicians in a competition for the chance to advance their careers. The finalists will compete at the Telluride Elks Lodge during the Blues for Breakfast event on Saturday, September 17th, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to Noon.
