Friday and Saturday Night only, Click here for schedule
After the festival ends in Town Park, we continue the music at 10PM on
Friday and Saturday night at the “Juke Joints", located in various
venues in Telluride. If you purchase a Juke Joint
pass it allows you to bounce around to five of the Juke Joints for that
night. Be aware, however, that a Juke Joint pass does not guarantee
that you will get into the show of your choice, but it does guarantee
that you will get into one of the Juke Joints – it all depends on the
capacity of each venue. As they fill up, we direct you to which Juke
Joints are not full. As the night goes on, the crowds at the JukeJoints tend to rotate, so even if you can't catch the start of the band
you want to see, there's a good chance you can catch the last half of
their show. So, if there is one particular band you really want to see,
get in line early for the show! Juke Joint Tickets do not guarantee entry to the show, doors open at 9:45PM. The VIP 3 Day Pass includes entry into the Juke Joints. Doors open at 9:30PM for VIP pass holders.

Upgrade
your Telluride Blues & Brews
Festival ticket to a “Be Green Ticket” for only $3.00.
Telluride Blues & Brews Festival, Green Mountain Energy
Company, and Sustainable Waves are pleased to give festival goers the
opportunity to “green up” their festival experience by upgrading to a
“Be Green Ticket.” When you upgrade to a Be Green Ticket for $3.00,
Green Mountain Energy Company will green-up your festival experience by
providing, on your behalf, 250 kWh of renewable energy made from
sources like wind and bio-energy. By purchasing a Be Green Ticket, you
can help offset an estimated 341 lbs of carbon dioxide created by
activities like driving your car to the festival.
Investing
in renewable energy helps reduce demand for electricity produced by
traditional fossil fuels. The 2009 Telluride Blues and Brews
Festival sold over 400 BeGreen tickets. This is equivalent to
purchasing over 100 MWh’s of renewable energy. It helps avoid
over 143,400 lbs of CO2, which has the same environmental impact as not
driving your car over 159,300 miles or the annual forest sequestration
of over 8,610 trees. Furthermore, this is equivalent to recycling over
353,050 aluminum cans or recycling over 57,370 pounds of newspaper.
The consensus among our world's climate scientists concludes that
carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from human activities like electricity
production and transportation are indisputably the leading cause of
global warming. Sustainable Waves - powered by
Green Mountain Energy Company is rippling throughout the entertainment
industry creating some simple effective ways for all of us to
participate in the effort to do something to address this growing
threat.
One of the ways you can offset your carbon footprint is by purchasing
renewable energy credits (RECs). RECs are an innovative means to offset
the carbon emissions impact on the environment associated with
activities like electricity consumption. Each Be Green Ticket will
include with it the environmental attributes of 250 kWh of electricity
produced using renewable resources, such as wind, solar, or bio-energy.
The generation of electricity from cleaner renewable energy sources
displaces electricity that might otherwise come from burning polluting
fossil fuels like coal and oil. It is in this way that the purchase of
renewable energy helps offset conventional electricity generation and
the associated emissions that contribute to global warming. By putting
dollars behind these new renewable sources of energy, you help bring
more of them online, which means less energy needs to be generated
using dirty fossil fuels. The net result? Carbon offsets that reduce
your carbon footprint.
Upgrade to a Be Green Ticket for the Telluride Blues & Brews
Festival and offset some of your environmental impact!
