Volunteer applications for the 2012 Telluride Blues & brews festival
will be available after March 1, 2012
We
are always looking for volunteers to help out at the festival and being
a volunteer gives you the chance to be part of the show! Most of our
volunteers enjoy it so much they come back year after year to volunteer
and we hope you'll have the same great experience.
REQUIREMENTS
If you are accepted as a volunteer, you will be assigned two
shifts in exchange for a 3-Day festival pass, a festival staff t-shirt. We typically assign you one morning
shift and one afternoon or evening shift.
AGE
You must be 18 or older to apply.
DEPOSIT
A deposit of $172.50 is required. This deposit is equal to the full
cost of a 3-Day festival pass, which you will receive as an accepted
volunteer. This deposit allows us to charge you for that 3-Day pass if
you fail to satisfactorily complete your scheduled shifts (refer to the
'I Agree' section on the volunteer application for the complete listing
of circumstances that would require us to retain your deposit). We
accept personal checks or debit/credit cards for deposits. Please
note that we do not deposit your check or charge your debit or credit
card unless you are assigned as a volunteer and you fail to
satisfactorily complete your scheduled shifts. The application process
alone does not validate or jeopardize your deposit.
APPLICATION
DEADLINE
We accept volunteer applications until all
positions are filled. Please note that we fill volunteer positions on a
first-come, first-serve basis, so the earlier you submit your
application the better your chances of obtaining the position you
prefer.
ACCEPTANCE NOTICE
Acceptance notice begins in the summer.
