Baron Vaughn is a comedian, actor, and director whose work spans stand-up, television, and film. He’s best known for his role as “Bud” alongside Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin on the hit Netflix series Grace and Frankie and as the voice of “Tom Servo” in recent seasons of the cult favorite Mystery Science Theater 3000.
Behind the scenes, Vaughn co-created and co-hosted the The New Negroes with Open Mike Eagle, highlighting both established and emerging Black artists in comedy and music. He also co-created the series Call & Response and developed the personal documentary project Fatherless, exploring the impact of absent fathers on families and communities.
A stand-up comic for more than two decades, Vaughn has appeared on 2 Dope Queens, Conan, and The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail, and performs regularly at major festivals including Just for Laughs and the New York Comedy Festival. He has released two acclaimed comedy albums, Raised by Cable and Blaxistential Crisis, and continues to tour nationally as a headlining performer.
