Head Brewer: Marks Lanham
Marks Lanham is a career brewer. He began professionally brewing in 2002, starting from a 15 barrel brewpub in Lubbock, Texas. He has traveled the country, brewing at Grand Teton Brewing, Boneyard Beer and Barley Brown’s. Since 2007, Marks has won 12 medals at the Great American Beer Festival (GABF), a Bronze at the 2008 World Beer Cup and 2013 GABF Very Small Brewing Company and Brewer of the Year (along with Eli Dickison).
Since starting Comrade Brewing in 2014, Marks took home silver at the 2014 & 2015 GABF for the Fresh Hop Superpower IPA in the Fresh or Wet Hop Ale category and gold at the 2016 World Beer Cup for Yellow Fever in the Chili Beer category.
