Joe Waters is our 2022 Telluride Blues Challenge winner. He blew the judges away last year and won a premium Martin guitar – provided by Telluride Music Co. – for his deft playing and soulful vocals. He also earned a spot on our 2023 lineup, as well as on this year’s Durango Blues Train. The competition showcases talented musicians who excel in the blues genre and is open to any solo performer(s), acoustic and electric, who are not currently signed to a major record label or publishing deal. With a Blues Challenge feather in his cap, we know this cat is going places.
