schedule announcement coming march 2026
Soulful, gritty, truthful, and as callused as a workingman’s hands, Myron Elkins’ songs speak to America’s heartland. The Michigan native released his first record, Factories, Farms and Amphetamines, in Nashville in 2023 with noted producer, Dave Cobb and settled there soon after, riding on the allure of Music City’s glittering array of opportunities. But things didn’t pan out as he dreamed. Instead of returning to his original career as a welder, he leaned into the music he kept hearing in his head and his heart. He left Nashville in the rear-view mirror and headed to Memphis, where he recorded 2025’s Nostalgia for Sale, a body of work that kept intact his heartland country-blues-rock roots but revealed a wiser voice with a deepened perspective. Being knocked around didn’t mean quitting. He worked even harder and as an independent artist, having his music touch people has meant his efforts have come to fruition. Citing inspirations such as Tom Petty and Johnny Cash and fellow Michigan rocker, Bob Seger, Myron is already at work on a new record for 2026. It’s a testament to the value of good, honest work, always believing in the songs that spin from his endlessly creative soul, and always keeping it real.
