Blues & Brews Yoga Sessions
We are thrilled to announce the free Blues & Brews Yoga Sessions presented by Telluride Yoga Festival! This is your weekend opportunity to unplug from the ordinary and discover the extraordinary from within with yoga instructors Kristin Taylor and Alyssa Saunders.
Enjoy a fluid yoga flow, activating breath practice, liberating movement and playful exercises to discover new realms of embodied pleasure. Guests of all skill levels are welcome to join us on Saturday and Sunday mornings during the Festival weekend.
Location: Telluride Elks Park* (FREE and open to the public)
Time: September 17 and 18 (Saturday and Sunday of the Festival) 10:00 - 11:00 am
What to Bring: Water, Yoga Mat, Towel and Active Wear (Come with or without - these items are not mandatory to join in the class)
*Located at the cross streets of Colorado Avenue and South Oak Street in Telluruide (inclement weather location: The Blues Stage - Town Park Pavilion).
MEET THE INSTRUCTORS
Kristin Taylor - Kristin developed her foundation in yoga through a dedicated Ashtanga yoga practice under the guidance of Victoria Laws, Annie Pace and Tim Miller. She has also trained with Shiva Rea and the Samudra Global School of Living Yoga to receive her RYS 200hr Prana Flow® Energetic Vinyasa certification. As the co-owner of the Telluride Yoga Center, Kristin continues to dedicate her life to the study of yoga and finds true joy in sharing her discoveries with others.
Alyssa Saunders - Alyssa has been a yoga instructor, personal trainer, and group fitness instructor in Telluride since 2001. She loves to bring her knowledge of the body with her enthusiasm for movement to her students and clients. Alyssa has studied alignment based yoga, such as Anusara, and is currently doing her 500hr with Christina Sell and Giaconda Parker. When not helping others move and breath, Alyssa enjoys biking, hiking, and chasing after her two boys, Dylan and Cash.
