What a voice! Sensuous, mighty, heaven-sent, emotive. What a band! Studded with the best of the best players in the blues-rock music world – tight, cool and steady and deep in the groove. Teresa is a Houston native who now makes her home in Los Angeles. This hard-working blues woman has released a slew of well-received records and has lent her voice to the recordings of artists like Eric Burdon, Randy Newman and Tommy Castro. She knew she wanted to perform for a living when she and her father won a talent show when she was a young girl in Texas. Through high school and college, she sang in folk and rock bands, but when blues music found her, she knew she’d landed where she belonged. We agree with The Band’s late drummer, Levon Helm, who said, “When she sings, you can feel it in your bones.”
