They’ve rocked your world before (TBB 2014), and we just had to have them play for us again. The Record Company is guitarist Chris Vos, Alex Stiff on bass, and drummer Marc Cazorla. In their muscular, not-kidding-around approach to playing, you’ll hear a searing amalgam of sounds that call on their influences – John Lee Hooker, Howlin’ Wolf and Muddy Waters – updated with contemporary rock muscle. Since their TBB debut, they made Rolling Stone’s 2016 10 New Artists You Need To Know list, were nominated for the 2017 Grammy Awards Best Contemporary Blues Album for Give It Back To You, and toured Europe with Blackberry Smoke. These LA-based gents have opened up for acts as diverse as Grace Potter, Social Distortion and Buddy Guy. They’re phenomenal, in demand and lucky for us, back in the mountains.
