It is Telluride Blues and Brews tradition to bring each year’s International Blues Challenge winners to the main stage and this year it’s none other than The Delgado Brothers. Los Angeles’ smoking hot blues brothers not only took the IBC top honor, but Joey D copped the coveted Albert King award for Best Guitarist. It comes as little surprise they wowed the judges. Their Latin-fired blues, masterful musicianship and everyman approach to the stories within their songs, make them “LA’s best-kept secret.” The secret’s out. On their latest record, Learning To Fly, they called in some of the best musicians in LA, and the result is a collaboration that reflects the soul, energy and love of family, of their home, and the deep affinity all musicians share when they’re making music. It’s an incredible gift. We’re proud to bring you this top-notch band.
