Ireland’s Gráinne Duffy has been making waves across the pond for some time now. It’s about time she came to our side of the Atlantic. She’s an acclaimed guitarist and songwriter with a captivating voice that at once hearkens the ghosts of the Mississippi Delta and her own Celtic roots. Her latest record, Dirt Woman Blues, is a collection of songs that showcase her stylistic versatility and chops. She’s a three-time Blues Matters Magazine Writers’ Poll winner (Best Female Vocalist, 2014, 2015, Best Solo Artist, 2015) and was also won Best Modern Roots Artist in the 2021 Independent Blues Awards. Her festival history includes Glastonbury, Tremblant International, Mahindra Blues, Notodden Blues Festival, and now, Telluride Blues & Brews. We’re honored to make the introduction.
