Jeffrey Scott is a bluesman who also lists mortician, long haul trucker, hog farmer and cattleman on his resume. His uncle is Piedmont bluesman, John Jackson, a musician who imparted his wisdom and musical knowledge to his nephew. Mr. Jackson implored his nephew to “keep the music alive,” and that’s exactly what you’ll hear – Piedmont blues, alive and thriving. “Music is a universal language,” Jeffrey says. “It doesn’t matter what language you speak or where you come from. It doesn’t matter who you are. And that’s why Uncle Johnny told me, ‘You got to keep this music alive. Everybody relates to music.”
