Dogs and pets are not permitted in the campground. Service animals are permitted with proper documentation.

Camping is first come, first serve with no reserved campsites. If you would like to camp near friends, we recommend arriving together and setting up at the same time.

No. All camping is communal and first come, first serve. Individual campsites are not reserved or assigned. Get to know your neighbors and enjoy the shared campground experience!

All official festival camping areas are located within approximately a 2–3 minute walk of the festival entrance.

No. All campers must have both a valid camping pass and a festival ticket. Camping wristbands are required for campground access.

5-Day campers: Check-in begins Wednesday morning.

4-Day campers: Check-in begins Thursday morning.

All campers must vacate the campground by Monday at 11:00 AM, at which time control of the campground returns to the Town of Telluride.

Upon arrival, follow campground signage and directions from festival staff. Early arrivals will participate in a Load-In Lottery (see the Campground Info tab for details).

You may unload your equipment before receiving your camping wristband. After unloading, visit the Box Office to exchange your camping ticket for your camping wristband.

Campers without a campground vehicle pass will have 30 minutes to unload before moving their vehicle.

If you purchased a campground parking pass, you may park onsite with your pass displayed in your windshield.

Campers without a campground parking pass will be directed to designated camper parking areas by campground staff.

Yes. Your camping wristband allows you to access the campground throughout the weekend. Please keep your wristband secure, as replacement wristbands cannot be issued.

Yes. Glamping guests receive guest passes for friends visiting the Glamping Village. All guests must have a valid guest pass and follow campground rules.

For the safety and comfort of all campers, campground access is limited to registered campers and approved guests with valid camping wristbands or guest passes.

Camping wristbands are non-transferable once they have been issued. Lost, damaged, altered, or tampered wristbands will not be accepted.

A campground host will be available throughout the weekend to assist campers and answer questions. Campground staff will enforce campground rules, including quiet hours.

Yes. Restrooms and showers are available in the campground and are ADA accessible.

Showers operate using tokens.

Each $1 token provides approximately 75 seconds of hot water.

Token machines accept cash bills only and do not accept coins or credit cards. The machines dispense the exact amount of tokens purchased, and campground staff cannot provide refunds for unused tokens.

Limited electrical outlets and charging stations will be available near campground bathroom locations.

Availability is not guaranteed, so we recommend bringing a portable battery charger. Glamping guests will have power available in their tents.

Yes. Ice will be available for purchase from the campground host throughout the weekend.

Yes. Lost & Found will be located at the warming hut next to the Town Park Oval, along the path between the Box Office and the festival entrance.

Yes. Campers may bring personal food, beverages, and alcohol into their campsite.

Open containers are not permitted outside the campground or in public areas of Town. Alcohol is not permitted inside the festival grounds.

Cooking equipment is permitted with restrictions.

Personal charcoal grills and propane grills are allowed in Town Park Campground. Charcoal grills are not permitted in Warner Field; propane grills are allowed.

Please always follow fire safety guidelines and be respectful of neighboring campers.

Smoking is permitted in camping areas, but we ask all campers to be respectful of their neighbors.

Marijuana consumption is not permitted openly or publicly. Please be considerate of those around you, and campground security may intervene if complaints are received.

Campers are responsible for their personal belongings. We recommend leaving valuables at home and securing important items at your campsite.

The festival is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

5-Day Campers - Wednesday, September 16

Zone 1 - Line up at the Blues Stage at 9:00 am, release at 9:30 am

Main Campground - line up at the Blues Stage at 2:30 pm, release at 3:00 pm

4-Day Campers - Thursday, September 17

Line up at Warner Field at 9:00 am, release at 9:30 am

• All campers walk in to pick out a campsite. Do not line up with your vehicle in the park to check in. Park somewhere legal in town and walk into Town Park.

• Remember to bring wristbands or proof of purchase (print or digital ticket confirmation) prior to getting a camp spot.

• Only 1 tarp and 1 person allowed per group to pick a spot. Campers walk in with a tarp, find their camp spot, put their tarp down and return to the camp host to get a temporary vehicle permit.

• Get your vehicle and give the temporary vehicle permit to the staff at the vehicle gate.

• You are allowed 20 minutes to unload. No time for setting up.

• Return to the vehicle gate to get a weekend parking permit and location to park.

• There likely will be other campers, vehicles, or RV in the same camping area as you. Make friends!

• Please only one person goes to choose a campsite for your group.

• This is festival camping. Please be gracious to others camping near you and make friends! Please leave your pets at home. No pets allowed.

• RV's will collect a tag at the site they want and bring it to the Camp Host site to exchange for a RV Hang Tag to display in your windshield for the duration of the festival. Please bring proof of purchase.

• RV’S: We have designated spots for RV’s. When you find the spot you want, grab the RV sign off the post and give it to the camp host, show them your RV confirmation and the host will give you your RV permit to put on your RV. Then you go get your RV and come back to the campground. Be sure your permit is in a location easily seen by staff walking through the campground. There likely will be a vehicle and/or tents in the same location as you, make friends.

• RV cannot be driven out during the festival.

Those who purchased a Vehicle permit walk in with their tarp and choose a spot that their vehicle can fit and be completely off the roadway. Then come to the camp host, show confirmation and get your vehicle permit and then go get your vehicle. Be sure your vehicle permit is easily seen by staff walking through the campground.

There likely will be another vehicle and/or tent campers in the same location as you, make friends!

You cannot move your vehicle for the duration of the festival.

Yes. Bikes are allowed in the campground; however, there are no designated bike storage areas within the campground.

Bikes must be stored at your campsite or in designated bike parking areas. Bikes are not permitted inside festival grounds.

You can rent bikes from several local shops in Telluride.

There are several nearby camping options in the Telluride area. Two nearby campgrounds we recommend are:

Sunshine Campground

Sunshine Campground is a single-loop, paved campground with 15 campsites nestled in a dense aspen forest featuring a small mountain lake. Hiking trails, fishing, and jeep roads are available nearby, and Lizard Head Wilderness is a short drive away.

Reservations are not available in advance. Sites are first come, first serve.

Matterhorn Campground

Matterhorn Campground is a developed campground located near Telluride with 28 campsites, including four sites with RV hookups (electricity and septic).

Most sites offer mountain views, and amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, lantern poles, showers, and firewood available for purchase.

Reservations are available for some sites, while others remain first come, first serve.
